We started in 2013 as a solar
company by designing and marketing a mini solar light (EasyLiteFix) for disadvantaged and remote non-electrified home owners.
By now, we have illuminated over 100,000 village homes with solar lights and panels and have installed many roof-top solar systems.
We are a registered vendor with CLP and a registered supply contractor with EMSD for roof-top solar systems. Our showroom has a complete rooftop equipment same as for a village home. CLEAN GREEN PRISTINE HONG KONG
For Hong Kong citizens rooftop solar is a risk-free investment. Under current FIT CLP proposal, it’s a hugely profitable decision. On-grid solar system does not interfere with your current household electrical wiring or fittings. The solar electricity you produce goes directly to the grid and at month-end CLP will issue a cheque for all solar electricity generated by your system. This is while your house is all the time connected to the grid. You can continue to use your ACs or Heaters or power devices without any worry.

A cloudy country like Germany has been no.1 solar roof top user in the world for many years until recently China overtook it. In fact Hong Kong has 23% more solar insolation than Germany. Let us all support the brilliant initiative by the HK government and utilize the strong financial incentive given by CLP/HK Electric to businesses and home owners. This will go a long way in improving our immediate environment and educating our next generation in doing right things for society.
HK Legislative assembly has allowed Hong Kong home owners to install solar panels on their roof top and FiT electricity to CLP. You can now earn extra money up to 4,900 HKD* every month from a 700 square feet clear roof by just generating solar electricity. It does not matter even if you consume some electricity as you will be paid for total solar electricity generated. Let us see an example of a 12 KW solar system*. CLP will give FiT 5 HKD/unit for every unit home owners generate via their rooftop solar system. The solar system will work for 30 years. You can obtain a loan from Bank for the solar roof top system and payback equal to your bank EMI until the system becomes yours. An accelerated tax deduction benefit is available under Profits Tax @20% each year over 5 years of the capital expenditure incurred.

If your roof top site is south facing and obstruction free, you certainly will be able to pay off the cost of our solar installation in approximately 3.5 to 5 years.

The designer & advisor of Energy Impex is certified solar professional from SunTech Solar[#Dec2012]. He also holds a Fellow status with RSC (Cambridge, UK). The company engineer in-charge is HK educated in Electronics & Wireless Engineering and has expertise in PCB designing. The engineering sourcing in-charge is China educated in business & finance and has over 15 years of industry experience.
Energy Impex is a registered vendor [#15002103] with CLP HK and an EMSD HK listed supplier [#RS18007]. Our contracting partners - Happy Decoration Company is also EMSD [REC023935 & REW W103734] registered.
Guidelines
For a new Hong Kong customer, the designing of system is very easy. We will just measure your roof and south sun facing direction. Nothing else is required. Most houses have 3-phase at 380VAC(+/-6%) & standard frequency is 50Hz(+/-2%).

A 700 sqft village house can put 12kw solar panels basis 22 sqft/370 watt PERC MONO panel & at 88% efficiency of space which will generate 4,900 HKD cash equivalent savings per month.
However, if you want to use only 50% of your roof, we can offer you a 6kw solar system which will generate 3,000 HKD cash equivalent savings per month. You will still be able to pay off the cost of system in 3.5 to 5 years.
A registered and calibrated bi-directional meter will be required to be put from CLP HK/HK Electric which will measure generation of solar electricity & consumption of electricity and generate an adjusted month-end bill.
